Protecting the soil and biodiversity is a longstanding commitment at Clarins. That’s why we have always given priority to plant-based key ingredients sourced from organic agriculture, grown using sustainable farming methods that respect nature and the health of the soil. Our harungana extract is organic* and obtained using a natural and environmentally friendly extraction process. Because our commitment to responsible agriculture concerns both plants and the people who grow them, in 2013, Clarins set up a fair trade supply chain in Madagascar in partnership with Jardins du Monde with the goal of financing social initiatives that include the construction of community buildings, enlarging schools, equipping new classrooms, and improving access to health and education.
