I received mine in good package. The brush head is 2" wide, and from tip to handle it's 7 1/2". I like to soft feeling.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tory from Huge This brush is huuuuge. The brush portion is about 3" around at the top and the bristles aren't tight. It is bigger than the powder portion of the compact. You have to use up a lot of powder just to get enough on the brush to distribute some on your face. Maybe it works for loose powder but it is pretty much unusable for a compact. I was hoping to replace my old Clarins compact brush which was great. I would return this if I could.
