<p><strong>The woman</strong><br />In 1979, Maria invited some friends to start an aid plan: elaborate manual works they made and they sold thanks to an annual bazaar of Christmas. They decided to give he result of the sales to the institutions that they considered need it more. That was how their relation with "the Small Group" began.</p><p><strong>Her fight: « El Pequeno Grupo »</strong><br />The Small Group is an educative institute for children with alterations. This institution has great achievements every day with the children because it participates in the rehabilitation and social integration of them and improves their prognosis of life, as well as the possibilities that they are inserted to the labor life. The Small Group also exists thanks to a fabulous equipment and thanks to teachers. For instance, a teacher in plastic organizes painting workshops so that the children learn how to surpass their disease: a way to have more confidence, to grow and to manage to express their creativity… an incredible challenge for them.</p><p><strong>What about now?</strong><br />The Small Group is first of all an school with a cozy atmosphere that offers to the children a better future.</p>
