<p><strong>The woman</strong><br />Francine is a famous doctor in France and works at the Necker hospital as a pediatrician. For 34 years, she has operated on more than 6,000 children. Her motto ? &#171; there are no problems, only solutions &#187;.</p><p><strong>Her fight: &#171; M&eacute;c&eacute;nat Chirurgie Cardiaque Enfants du Monde &#187;</strong><br />Since 1996, the association has continuously worked to help cure children with cardiac disorders from all over the world. More than 600 children have been successfully operated and found a warm, welcoming environment in their French host families. These "families of the heart" accompany the children during their entire stay.</p><p><strong>What about now?</strong><br />Thanks to Clarins, the association has formed a partnership with Marie Claire Noah's Maisons-Tendresse and a number of children have already been able to stay there. Another new aim of the association is to train surgeons abroad (namely in Mali and Gabon) so that doctors can treat children in their own country.</p>
